Aveline was created for that in-between season, the one where you’re growing, questioning, and quietly wondering if you’re doing life “right.”
I wanted to create something I couldn’t find…a beautiful place to gather with young women like me. A place where we could explore our ideas, learn from those who have done things that once felt impossible, and move a little closer to who we’re meant to become in this season of our lives.
I hope Aveline feels like a friend you want to carry with you—the kind who reminds you what’s possible and nudges you to go after a life that actually lights you up.
Inside these pages, you’ll meet girls building businesses, using their voices, and creating meaningful change in their communities, all while figuring it out as they go. Their stories are a reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin.
Because sometimes, all it takes is seeing that someone else took the leap first.

meet the founders
Aleks + Michele
Aveline was founded by a mother-daughter duo who believe deeply in the power of encouragement, storytelling, and honoring the seasons of life.
The idea began with a shared realization: so many young women feel pressure to have everything figured out far too soon. One founder brings the lived experience of being in that very season, learning, questioning, and stepping forward without all the answers. The other brings decades of a life fully lived, shaped by both its beauty and its challenges, along with a heart for mentoring young women.
Together, they created Aveline, a modern magazine-meets-journal devoted to sharing the stories of young women who are creating, leading, and figuring things out as they go.
The name Aveline reflects the heart of it all. They see her as a small bird tucked in the branches of a hazel tree, gathering the courage to leave the nest and trust her wings, even before she feels fully ready.
Rooted in South Georgia and guided by values of community, creativity, faith, beauty, and patience, Aveline exists to walk alongside young women as they grow, season by season.
